GcMAF (Gc Macrophage Activating Factor)

My next question for our LLMD is can we test for Jackson’s Nagalase levels.  I have a feeling his level is extremely high.  I’m just starting to learn about GcMAF.

GcMAF treatment for Autism.

Some parents of children with autism report significant gains with the use of our GcMAF.

“Early observations from parents, teachers and therapists in many countries are commonly telling us that at least a subset of children with autism respond favorably to GcMAF therapy. They first report back an increase in what they all call presence – meaning they see more connection between the child and the family as well as the World around the child.  In effect, they come out of themselves and engage more appropriately with people.  Teachers and therapist often report gains in cognition and processing and then later gains in language and attention.” – Dr J Bradstreet 17th October 2011

New research proves a link between autism and viruses

With more than one in a hundred children in the UK succumbing to autism the medical establishment is still no nearer to discovering the causes of, or providing any successful treatment for, this dreaded illness. There is, however, growing hope of recovery at any age.

The two theories of Autism

The static theory – The mainstream view of autism is that it is a “static” encephalopathy with its roots in the womb or in genetic causes. There is yet no hope of successful treatment as the brain and nervous system are considered to be permanently damaged.

The viral theory – That the onset of autism can be attributed to a particular illness or vaccine and that person “regressed” into autism. The virus has compromised the immune system allowing the virus to stay locked in the body for years, even life! As Dr. Bradstreet notes in December 2011 – “For years I have observed that even the most substantially effected children have moments where they are profoundly better – perhaps only for mere fleeting periods of time. This alone implies there is some interference with neuro-processing which is not always present at the same level. Therefore, it is conceivable that this interfering substance is amenable to biomedical therapy. ”

It has now been proven that over 80% Autistic Children have significantly high viral loads

Ground breaking research has shown that over 80% of Autistic children have an elevated level of the serum called Nagalase. Nagalase is secreted by virus to suppress the immune system by attacking the natural production of GcMAF.

“We have now evaluated approximately 400 children with autism for the viral marker, Nagalase. From my perspective this is one of the most important developments in the clinical treatment of children on the spectrum that I have experienced in the last 15 years. The short story is nearly 80% of the children with autism evaluated have significantly elevated levels of Nagalase.”

“It is reasonable and likely that the nature of the immune dysfunction and the frequently observed autoimmune problems in autism are mediated by persistent, unresolved viral infections.”

GcMAF therapy – Reducing the viral load

(Gc Macrophage Activating Factor). Activated Macrophages are the front line of defence in the immune system and they work by continually ingesting pathogens and virus on a colossal scale (Macrophage is Greek for big eater). Viruses secrete an enzyme called Nagalase that attacks the GcProtein by removing the sugars necessary to make GcMAF. This means that the macrophages never get the message to go into action and it is in this way that viruses suppress the immune system and grow unchecked.

GcMAF Therapy involves weekly injections of GcMAF, up to 10,000iu Vitamin D3 and good nutrition. There have been some reports of minimal side effects of flu-like symptons for a few hours. This is likely to be as a result of the immune system getting to work on undiagnosed viruses, as these are likely to have been the cause of the elevated Nagalase levels.

The results have been astounding, with 85% of the children who received GcMAF responding positively. Whilst parental anecdotes cannot take the place of a well implemented clinical trial, the very positive comments are cause for us to investigate this further.

“I receive these following kind of emails from all over the World on a daily basis. Precisely how GcMAF works in children with ASD remains something of a mystery. It seems to be tied into its ability to lower nagalase activity and most often we observe a correlation between lowering of nagalase and improvement of symptoms. Even modest increases in nagalase seem to be harmful to children on the spectrum. Whether it is because nagalase damages the Vitamin D system by disrupting the vitamin D binding protein or through dysregulation of calcium channels or by its helping the body to reduce pathogen burden is mysterious at this point. But it took medical doctors well over a hundred years of use to understand why aspirin helped pain – even though they all prescribed it” – Dr J Bradstreet

“After 24 weeks of the GCMAF, we are happy to report that she continues to have immense gains in all areas. She has shown an increased tolerance, socialization and speech with adults and same age peers, continued remarkable performance in Academics (she is at the first grade reading level (She’s in kindergarten), she knows the sight words, writes her name,etc…………….. We are so excited to see her blossom! ” – S.J. November 2011

“During the course of the GCMAF treatment we’ve seen improvements and this is a phenomenal. Her Language development went from repeating one word such as “iPad” over and over again, meaning she wanted to play with it, to “When I get home, I want to play with the iPad.”……… Needless to say, we are feeling very blessed and we are so excited to see what more amazing things are in store towards her recovery in 2012! Thank you so much for all that you’ve done and continue to do! ” – M and R January 2012

“Mike’s nagalase numbers were so incredibly high (7.8) that my hope was to just get these nasty viruses out of him and maybe on down the road we would see some good results with that. However, after 12 weeks of injections, we are blown away by improvements in his articulation and in spontaneous speech! I don’t think we have ever had spontaneous speech, other than requests for the common things he wanted or stim words.” Mike’s Mom March 2012
